At Triple Shield Property Maintenance Ltd, we recently completed a full property redecoration and refurbishment at East Cottage, Prudhoe. This project involved a complete internal and external refresh — enhancing both the appearance and functionality of the home while maintaining its character and charm.

 

Exterior Works: Vegetation and Moss Removal

We began with essential exterior maintenance to restore the property’s kerb appeal. Overgrown vegetation was cleared away, and moss was carefully removed from all paths and hard surfaces. This not only improved the look of the property but also reduced slip hazards and protected the exterior from moisture damage.

Full Internal Redecoration​

Inside, every room underwent a full redecoration. Walls, ceilings, and woodwork were prepared and refinished to a high standard, giving the home a clean, bright, and refreshed appearance. The result is a consistent and welcoming finish throughout the property.

Window Servicing and Adjustments

All windows were eased and adjusted to ensure smooth operation and a perfect fit. This not only improved ventilation and usability but also helped to enhance energy efficiency and security.

Kitchen and Utility Flooring Upgrade

In the kitchen and utility areas, the old flooring was completely removed and replaced with new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). This modern and durable flooring solution offers a sleek finish, easy maintenance, and long-lasting performance — ideal for high-traffic areas.

Layout Improvement: Removing a Stud Wall and Double Doors

To improve the internal layout, a stud wall and double doors were removed from one of the bedrooms. The area was made good to a professional standard, creating a more open and versatile space that better suits modern living.

Bedroom and Bathroom Enhancements

As part of the upgrade, existing fitted wardrobes were removed to maximise usable space and allow for future redesign flexibility. In the bathroom, we supplied and fitted a new shower kit, giving the room a fresh, updated look and improved functionality.

New Carpets Throughout

The finishing touch for this project was the removal of all existing carpets and the installation of new carpets throughout the property. The fresh flooring tied the redecoration together, adding warmth, comfort, and a clean new feel to every room.
